Sydney truly comes alive in summer, with arts and cultural festivals enriching the city – one event we eagerly anticipate each year is the Sydney International Art Series. Now showing at the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia, experience world-renowned New York-based artist, Julie Mehretu.
Julie Mehretu’s dynamic and multi-layered works invite you to see painting in a whole new way. From early works on paper to her latest innovative TRANSpaintings series, Mehretu’s monumental works pulse with history, movement, and energy.
Make a day of it, explore the exhibition followed by an early dinner overlooking the harbour.
