CAFE SYDNEY IS RE-OPENING THURSDAY 25TH JUNE 2020!
POSTED 4 JULY 2020

It’s with great pleasure that we announce Cafe Sydney is re-opening on Thursday 25th June in time for what happens to be our 21st birthday.

We have embraced the time at home, cooking with our families and enjoying a slower pace. However, it is with much excitement that we return to the Cafe Sydney dining room where we are busily preparing to welcome you back, our much-loved guests.

Your wellness is our top priority and we are committed to providing a safe environment for our guests to relax, dine, unwind and enjoy our warm hospitality. As such we have implemented a Covid-19 house policy.

We are extremely fortunate with our gorgeous, spacious restaurant, which is the perfect location for social distance dining. We eagerly await the energy that our guests and team bring, over a buzzing lunch or dinner in our harbour side home.

As we celebrate our 21st birthday, we would like to extend a big heartfelt thank you for your support and care over not just the past few months, but for the many years that we have sat atop of Customs House. We are eagerly counting down the days until we welcome you to Cafe Sydney.

As leading go to guide, Urban List said when naming our Salted Caramel Martini No 7 in its top 50 Best Cocktails “its not just Cafe Sydney’s sweeping panoramic views that make it such a popular destination….. it’s the perfect spot for a long lunch, romantic dinner or a celebratory cocktail.” But don’t wait to for a celebration to enjoy this totally decadent liquid indulgence. Our Cafe Sydney mixologists have perfected the right balance of vodka, schnapps, kahlua, salted caramel sauce and yes, fresh cream. Try it at home too.

Cafe Sydney’s Salted Caramel Martini:
30ml x 42 Below Vodka
15ml x Teichenne Butterscotch Schnapps
15ml x Kahlua
20ml x Salted Caramel sauce
20ml x Fresh Cream

Coat a martini glass rim with sea salt (try rubbing a thin layer of Schnapps around the rim to help the salt stick)
Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice
Briskly shake, then strain into glass
